On 11 July 2017, the 79th meeting under the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held in Ergneti.
Participants discussed all the incidents that happened from previous meeting, freedom of movement and illegal detentions.
The installation of borderisation features, including information signs, also was discussed. The participants once again said that illegally installed barbed wires, fences and other artificial barriers make problems for local population.
The ongoing imprisonment of Giorgi Giunashvili was again debated intensively.
The next IPRM meeting will take place on 7 September 2017.
The Central Government of Georgia is presented on The Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism with the representatives of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the State security service of Georgia.
