"A quarter of a century passed since the beginning of the conflict that killed thousands of people and brought too much pain. Today we are reminding the heroes who sacrificed their lives for their homeland. There is a lot of pain in those families who have lost loved ones. Today I talked with mother's, who lost their children. Unfortunately, we cannot change the past. The strength and the wisdom of these people helps us to move towards the main task of our country – the unification of Georgia. They are talking about the peace and reconciliation. They said, that we should no longer allow confrontation, no one's life should be lost any more. This war is the common tragedy for our societies, and we must do everything in order to reconcile our societies, divided by conflict and artificial barricades. Obviously, we have shared common interest - a better future for our children. Life and peace are our main valueis. That’s why we should move on in order to overcome the confrontation. That’s why we need dialogue and reconciliation and this path has no alternative", - said the State Minister.
