Unfortunately, one more life has become a victim of the occupation regime. I express my condolences to the family of Archil Tatunashvili, today reported dead in Tskhinvali.

According to information existing up to now, the citizen of Georgia Archil Tatunashvili was detained in Akhalgori, occupied Tsikhvali region/South Ossetia yesterday, the force was used against him and he died in absolutely unclear circumstances. The hotline has already been activated.

The EU Monitoring Mission and co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions are informed to immediately and without the delay clarify the real circumstances of his death and react to this dreadful fact adequately, for which responsibility lays on the Russian Federation and the occupation regime as a whole.
