The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lasha Darsalia attended the funeral ceremony of burial of heroes transferred from Abkhazia to Dighomi brothers' cemetery.
The First Deputy State Minister expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and said this day, together with great sadness and pain, is also a sort of relief.
"This tragedy once again reminds itself. After so many years we still fill pain and the scars are still open. My condolences to the families who had once again to remember about their scars.
"It's a common tragedy for people living on both sides of the dividing lines. People, who lost their relatives and family members. It's time for the next generation to overcome the pain, find the common language and the principles of common coexistence", - said Lasha Darsalia.
The bodies of 22 persons were transferred with the help of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
