The 56th meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) was held in Gali on 18 May 2018. 

The main topic of the discussion was the arrest of Rashid Kanji Oghli, the murderer of Giga Otkhozoria. The Georgian side demanded to transfer him to the central government.

Discussions also focused on the incidents that happened from the last meeting and illegal detention cases. 

The next IPRM meeting will take place in Gali on 27 June 2018
