Acting State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with Fuad Muradov, the chairman of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora.
During the meeting Ketevan Tsikhelashvili talked about the steps that are being implemented in the direction of civil integration. She noted that full participation of ethnic minorities in public and political life of the country is one of the top priorities of the State Minister's Office.
She also emphasized the program intended specially for the representatives of ethnic minorities "1+4", which offers young people the opportunity to learn the state language. The conversation also touched upon the initiative of Ketevan Tsikhelashvili in the state sector internship program aimed at facilitating employment of qualified professionals with the knowledge of state language.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided the guest information about the campaign, which is being implemented in the Kvemo Kartli region with the support of the State Minister's Office and serves to raise the awareness of ethnic minorities about state programs.
Acting State Minister and the Chairperson of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora agreed on the continuation of bilateral cooperation.
