Ketevan Tsikhelashvili held a farewell meeting with UNICEF’s representative in Georgia

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili held a farewell meeting with UNICEF’s representative in Georgia Laila Omar.

The importance of friendly relations and close partnership between the State Minister's Office and UNICEF was underlined during the meeting. Participants discussed the implemented activities and ongoing projects.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili expressed appreciation for projects implemented by UNICEF on the occupied territories and noted, that these projects are aimed at the improvement of the local population life and promoting peace building.

They also emphasized the importance of UNICEF in the process of civil integration promotion in Georgia's controlled territory. Bilateral desire and willingness to continue working in both directions were expressed.

Laila Omar thanked the State minister for open and coordinated cooperation. At the end of the meeting, the sides discussed possibilities of further deepening of relations and wished each other success in the future activities.
