The EU once again reiterates its full support to Georgia's peace initiative "A Step for a Better Future". The ways of this programs implementation the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality discussed with Thomas Mayr-Harting in Brussels.
The Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service confirmed the readiness of the EU to play an active role in implementing the Georgian government's new peace initiative.
Tomorrow Ketevan Tsikhelashvili together with the NATO Secretary General will open the NATO-Georgia Commission sitting, which will be dedicated to the entire conflict.
The State Minister will also hold a meeting with the Deputy Secretary General. The main topics of the talks are the sitting of the Commission, the peace initiative of the Government of Georgia and the current situation in the occupied regions, including the facts of gross violations of human rights, relations between people separated by artificial barricades.
