The 89th Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting in Ergneti fell through. The representatives of the de facto authorities of the Tskhinvali region demanded the withdrawal of Davit Basharuli and Archil Tatunashvili’s cases from the agenda. The Georgian side clearly said that these issues will be on the agenda before the offenders will not be punished.

After this announcement, the representatives of Tskhinvali left the IPRM meeting.

Right now it is not known when the next meeting of the Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism will be held.
