INTERNSHIP ANNOUNCED FOR 1 + 4 PROGRAM BENEFICIARIES

Internship for the beneficiaries of "1+4” study program in Georgian language will be announced on October 8. There are 500 vacancies for the fall of 2018.

The program designed for ethnic minority students is implemented by the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality of Georgia,  with the UN Association of Georgia and the National Bureau of Public Service. The goal of the program is to promote youth employment, engagement and civic integration.

The program has been implemented by the initiative of State Minister Ketevan Tsikhelashvili since 2017. “1+4” program beneficiaries are provided with the opportunity to take an internship in governmental agencies, both at central and local level in the preferred field.

Representatives of ethnic minorities will be involved in the internship process based on the competition starting from October 8. Applications shall be submitted by October 22. A special commission will select the interns using the assessment criteria. Successful applicants will take 1-6-month internship in state agencies, local self-government bodies and legal entities of public law.

We remind you that "1+4” educational program envisages the passing of General Skills exam in Abkhazian, Ossetian, Armenian and Azeri languages and the opportunity of receiving higher education. They then have to spend an extra year learning Georgian language before they can start their selected study programs.
