Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the Director of the United Kingdom’s Joint Funds Unit

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality met with the Director of the United Kingdom’s Joint Funds Unit Joëlle Jenny.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided Joëlle Jenny the information about the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia and issues of human rights violations. The State Minister also told to Director of the United Kingdom’s Joint Funds Unit about the Government's new peace initiative "A Step to a Better Future" and thanked the UK for supporting the initiative. Joëlle Jenny expressed the readiness to assist in the implementation of the peace initiative.

The United Kingdom Joint Funds Unit, which unites the Conflict, Security and Stability Fund, works in more than 70 countries and its main purpose is to promote security and development in countries with conflicts.
