The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ruslan Abashidze held an introductory meeting with UNICEF Representative in Georgia Ghassan Khalil.

The main topic of the meeting was the current situation on the occupied territories. The focus was made on the human rights violations, especially on the restriction of education in native language.

Participants also touched upon the situation of the population living along the dividing lines and the difficulties that they are facing in their daily life.

The sides discussed UNICEF's projects and future cooperation plans.
