On 8 February 2019, the 91st Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting was held in the village of Ergneti (Gori Municipality). The case of Archil Tatunashvili’s murder and the transfer of his internal organs and personal items was discussed. Participants also talked about Davit Basharuli's death. The necessity to investigate these cases was underlined.

The focus was on illegal so called borderization process, the closure of so called checkpoints and illegal detentions of Georgian citizens. Participants of the meeting discussed all the important incidents along the dividing lines that are threatening for stability.

The next meeting of Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism is scheduled for 20 March 2019.
