The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelishvili talks about the situation in the village of Gugutiantkari and says that the process of building barricades in the village has been suspended.  

"No additional works are carried out at this time. In regard of the episode, which was connected to the so-called borderization and the building of the barricades and which took place on 7 August - the Georgian authorities immediately reacted and activated the hotline several times in the afternoon of that day. Also, on August 7, there was a communication of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs with our partners, and you will also need to understand that the episode of Gugutiantkari appeared in the statement of the U.S. Department of State not by accident and there was some work ahead", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
