On the initiative of the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, an informational meeting was held with the local population and elders in the village of Duisi in Pankisi Gorge.

During the meeting locals were informed about eight new tourist routes marked by the National Tourism Administration in Pankisi Gorge. These trails are already operational and can be used by locals, tourists and visitors of the Gorge.

Later, the attendees also talked about their needs and challenges. They asked questions and received comprehensive answers.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Minister's Office and the National Tourism Administration, the Head of the State Attorney's Office in Kakheti, Akhmeta Mayor and representatives of the local self-government.
