The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality met with Armenia's High Commissioner for Diaspora Issues Zareh Sinanyan.
At the bilateral meeting, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili talked about the policy and priorities of the Government of Georgia on Civil Integration. The projects and measures under this policy were outlined.
The State Minister noted that we have positive trends and progress in engaging ethnic minorities in various public areas.
It was emphasized that today we already have young people of ethnic minorities who not only have a good command of the state language but also have high competences and achievements in various fields.
Zareh Sinanyan noted that representatives of different ethnicities have been living in Georgia for many centuries.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia Ruben Sadoyan also attended the meeting.
