Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, Irakli Beraia and members of the parliamentary majority held remote meeting on epidsituation in occupied regions of Georgia

The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, the Chair of the Interim Commission on Restoration of Territorial Integrity and De-occupation, Irakli Beraia and the members of the parliamentary majority, held the remote meeting regarding the epidsituation and access to the public healthcare services in the occupied regions of Georgia.

Participants conversed with the heads of the legitimate authorities of Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, heads of healthcare departments of these regions and representatives of the Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health and Social Affairs.

The epidemiological situation in Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions, shortage of medical facilities on the spot and the steps assumed to help the population were discussed in detail.

An important part of the discussion was devoted to the current, scheduled and planned COVID-19 related activities for our citizens living in the occupied territories of Georgia.
