The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia, Patrick Franzen.

Tea Akhvlediani expressed gratitude for Switzerland's strong position on Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its contribution to the process of peaceful settlement of the conflict and the confidence building.

At the meeting, the sides discussed the situation in the occupied regions of Georgia. They also talked about the State Ministers Offices’ civil equality and integration policy. Tea Akhvlediani briefed the Ambassador on future plans and new initiatives in both directions.

The Ambassador reaffirmed Switzerland’s full readiness to further support of Georgia.
