Tea Akhvlediani congratulates Muslim compatriots on Kurban Bayram

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani congratulates the Muslims living in Georgia on Kurban Bayram.

“I would like to sincerely congratulate each of you on this wonderful day and wish you peace, welfare and prosperity in your families and in the country as a whole. May this day be a precursor to success and advancement.

Representatives of many ethnicities, religions and cultures have traditionally coexisted in Georgia for centuries. It is this diversity that unites and strengthens us. We must take care of this wealth and achievements, respect each other's religion and traditions”, - said the State Minister.

Kurban Bayram, or so called “Sacrifice Feast" lasts for three days and is marked on 70th day after Ramazan Bayrami.
