In her speech before the participants of the celebration, Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili spoke about the phenomenon of Sayat-Nova and cultural diversity.
"Congratulations on this beautiful event. Sayat-Nova is a phenomenon associated with Tbilisi. It is the pride of Armenian and Georgian nations, our common treasure and the symbol of unity. We should protect and take care of this treasury, as far as our diversity is our wealth. Tbilisi is rich with this diversity and it is symbolic that the celebration is marked today in this square, embodying various cultures, ethnicities and religions," - Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
The First Deputy State Minister attended the event under the invitation of the Diocese of Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Holy Church in Georgia. Representatives of the Diocese, Armenian Diaspora and guests from Armenia took part into the celebration.
