The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Tea Akhvlediani, held a meeting with Izabella Osipova, Executive Secretary of the Council of National Minorities under the Public Defender, Izabella Osipova and the Coordinator of the Council, Koba Chopliani.

The meeting discussed the results achieved and the dynamics of progress within each priority area of the State Strategy within the framework of the Civil Equality and Integration Policy; the discussion also touched on the issues of implementation, monitoring and evaluation of action plans.

The State Minister introduced the Council representatives to the vision of future activities and spoke about the draft Consolidated Action Plan for 2025-2026, which was prepared under the leadership and coordination of the State Minister’s Office.

The leaders of the Council of Ethnic Minorities expressed their readiness to submit their recommendations regarding the draft Action Plan to the State Minister’s Office.

The draft Action Plan for Civic Equality and Integration for 2021-2030 and the State Strategy for 2025-2026 will soon be available on the official website of the Office of the State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality to submit proposals and opinions.
