In this context, we discussed in detail the grave human rights and humanitarian situation in Georgia’s Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. We also reviewed the state policy on reconciliation and engagement, along with ongoing and planned peace initiatives aimed at rebuilding trust between the Georgian-Abkhaz and Georgian-Ossetian communities divided by the occupation lines and improving the social and economic conditions of the conflict-affected population.
Furthermore, we explored specific ways to enhance our joint efforts to achieve more tangible results in peacebuilding and ensuring dignified living conditions for our citizens”, - said Tea Akhvlediani.
The parties agreed to continue close cooperation.
