Temporary Governmental Commission, chaired by the Prime Minister Mr. Irakli Garibashvili, discussed the needs of communities living in villages near the dividing line at the extraordinary session, organized in the Administration of the Government.

The Head of Government was briefed about the activities implemented by the commission in villages near the dividing line. The discussion concerned the projects implemented in the areas of education and healthcare, as well as the needs that still remain. As reported at the session, population basically needs gas supply, water and rehabilitation of road infrastructure; the work on these issues is ongoing. The Prime Minister assigned the commission members on responding the needs of population in the shortest period of time.
"Engagement of the Prime Minister into the commission session stresses that the issue of responding to the needs of communities living in villages near the dividing line, is one of the priorities for the Government of Georgia. We have discussed the essential issues for the local population, such as the supply of gas, provision of potable and irrigation water. The commission exists since October 2013 and many steps have been taken in the areas of education, healthcare, supply of water and supply of firewood. We have implemented a number of infrastructural projects and these works are running regularly," - the First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared.
