The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality has met with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Council of Europe Mr. Nils Muižnieks. Mr. Paata Zakareishvili provided information on human rights situation in the occupied territories. Discussion also concerned the number of implemented activities that support the integration of Georgia’s ethnic minorities.
“European Charter for Regional or Minority Languages” was also among the topics discussed. In the light of the charter, the Minister discussed Georgia’s commitments with Nils Muižnieks.
