Festival “Under One Sky” Dedicated to the International Day for Tolerance

This year, the multi-ethnic art festival “Under One Sky” was arranged in Bolnisi. Around 200 children, belonging to different ethnic minority groups took part into the event from Tbilisi, Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kakheti regions.
12th festival featured folk performances. 11 folk ensembles and frontmen staged national choreographic pieces, songs and instrumental parts. A short fragment from the Georgian theatre drama “Tetri Bairagebi” (eng: “White Banners”) was presented as well.
The event was led by the composer Mrs. Manana Alpaidze, who is the author of the project. The festival “Under One Sky” is organized by the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality, the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection and the UN Association in Georgia.
