Participants of the meeting discussed incidents that occurred within the latest period and the cases of illegal arrests. Georgian side raised the problems that emerged for the local population due to the illegal installation of barbed wires, fences and a banner.
Discussion dealt with the supply of irrigation water for the populations on both side of the divide. Specifically, the discussion concerned the cleaning of Tiriponi channel and the opportunity to define technical obstacles on the segment of the occupied territory and carry out necessary works for cleaning, respectively.
Within the auspices of the agenda, the conversation also dealt with the destruction of an apartment in the village Disevi by unknown identity. Participants also discussed the cases of the missing Grigol Nalbandov and the passing Davit Basharuli.
Georgian side is represented by the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the State Security Service at IPRM.
The next 63th IPRM meeting is scheduled for March 15th in village Ergneti.
