The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Paata Zakareishvili met with the UNDP Resident Representative in Georgia Mr. Niels Scott.
The State Minister spoke about the development of confidence building projects at the meeting. The discussion also dealt with current projects on the territory of Abkhazia under the auspices of the UN and the issues of future cooperation.
Mr. Paata Zakareishvili emphasized the significant role of the United Nations into the peaceful settlement of the conflict and extended his thanks to the UNDP Resident Representative.
In his part Mr. Niels Scott reiterated the support of the United Nations for territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
