The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the local population in Ganmukhuri and Khurcha villages, Samegrelo region, close to occupation line.
According to State Minister, the action in support of local needs near the dividing line and socio-economic empowerment/development of the regions remains a priority for the Government.
“I have met with the local population in Ganmukhuri and Khurcha. I plan to visit other villages near the dividing lines in forthcoming days. The main goal of my visit is to receive information on local needs precisely through meeting with the population. I also wanted to observe the works that are done in the villages. As far as you are concerned, the Temporary Governmental Commission has taken many important steps in last three years, including the major infrastructural project close to occupation line that considerably alleviates the socio-economic life. I am glad that people have acknowledged this today into their conversation with me,” – Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili declared after her meeting with Khurcha population.
The State Minister also observed the rehabilitation process on Enguri Bridge and Rukhi trade center.
