The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili took part into the workshop “Countering Information War- Lessons Learned from NATO and Partner Countries.”
Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili discussed the implications of offsetting Russian propaganda in occupied territories, access to unbiased information and the need for communication to local population, noting that the actions have significant weight on confidence building and peace-building process.
The two-day workshop convenes Georgian and international experts who discuss the methods of countering propaganda and the role of government agencies, civil society and media actors within the overall process.
The project is implemented by GLOBSEC Policy Institute, with the support of the Information Center on NATO and EU, NATO Liaison Office in Georgia and NATO-led SPS (Science for Peace and Security) Program.
