Meeting with School Freshers in Tivi, Chantlikuri and Saruso Villages

Under the arrangement of the State Minister’s Office for Reconciliation and Civic Equality a meeting took place in the villages of Tivi, Chantliskuri and Saruso schools freshers. Representatives of State Minister’s Office introduced children’s folk literature to pupils. In their part, the children performed poetry in Georgian and Khundza languages, and also music. By the completion of the meeting, SMRCE representatives granted books to school libraries and office appliances to freshers.
The event took place in frames of the “Tolerance, Civic Awareness and Integration” Programme, with the financial support of the UN Association in Georgia (UNAG). The event was funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
