The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulated the Orthodox Christians on Christmas.
“I would like to congratulate all Orthodox Christians with this great holiday. Especially the residents of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Christmas is the special holiday for the Orthodox world. It’s a beginning of the new life, the hope of the future and spiritual renewal. Wish you to have hope in your hearts and faith for the future. I believe that this future will be peaceful, in the united European Georgia, in which all human rights, identity, culture and religion of all ethnic groups will be protected", - noted the State Minister.
The Orthodox world celebrates Christmas on January 7.
