The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Great Britain in Georgia Justin McKenzie Smith.

Ketevan Tsikhelashvili provided the diplomat with the information about the both areas of work of the State Ministers Office. She told the Ambassador about the priorities and steps of Georgian government in terms of civic integration (current activities and future plans), reconciliation policy, confidence building process and commitment to the conflicts peaceful resolution.

During the meeting they also discussed the situation in occupied territories of Georgia. Especially, human rights issues. Tsikhelashvili and McKenzie Smith also talked about the importance of the UK's involvement in the peaceful settlement process.

Parties also discussed future close cooperation. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili thanked the Ambassador of Great Britain for support and cooperation.
