The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili delivered the speech on the 4th session of the EU-Georgia Parliamentary Association Committee.
Tsikhelashvili provided the members of the Committee the information about the conflicts peaceful resolution. In particular, the State Minister in details talked about the Geneva discussions, the situation which has developed in the occupied territories, the government's approach to the peaceful settlement of conflicts etc. Tsikhelashvili underlined the importance of the European Union and the European Parliament support.
The EU-Georgia Parliamentary Association Committee 4th session was held in Strasbourg on February, 15 – 16 with participation of Georgian Parliament and EP Delegations. The sitting was presided by the Co-Chairs, Tamar Khulordava and Sajjad Karim.
During the EU-Georgia Parliamentary Association Committee session the participants discussed Georgia-EU relations, European Union Association Agreement implementation, DCFTA application prospects and its impact on economy and agrarian development. They also talked about the democratic reforming and peaceful resolution of conflicts in Georgia.
