The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mrs. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met the Deputy Minister of the foreign affairs of Switzerland Christian Marti Lang. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia Lucas Beglinger, also attended the meeting.
The guests were interested in the Georgian government's approaches to the conflicts resolution and steps taken in this direction. Tsikhelashvili acquainted them with the main tasks of the country's peace policy and the priorities of the reconciliation policy.
The State Minister provided the representatives of Switzerland with the information about the situation in occupied territories of Georgia. Especially, human rights and humanitarian issues.
She thanked the guests for strong support of Georgia and expressed hope for further cooperation.
