PETRE KANKAVA ATTENDED THE EXHIBITION-SALE OF THE CONFLICT – AFFECTED WOMEN AND GIRLS HANDICRAFTS

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava attended the exhibition-sale of the conflict – affected women and girls.
They presented in the hall of the "Caucasian House" Center’s for Cultural Relations handmade items, as well as paintings. Petre Kankava bought the Easter basket, made by the young people of the Youth Center's “Ialagi” of Zugdidi and Tsaishi Diocese.
"Today young people from the both sides of the dividing line presented their creations. We also received the information about the activities "Imedi" IDP Women's Movement for Peace. We welcome all the events and steps taken towards the peace and unification of our split societies", - said Peter Kaknava.
During this event pupils of the 11th school of Abkhazia sang songs and poems.
The Acting Chair of Government of the A/R of Abkhazia Vakhtang Kolbaia also attended the event. The exhibition-sale was organized by the "Imedi" IDP Women's Movement for Peace and supported by the "Caucasian House" Center for Cultural Relations.
