Petre kankava introduced the students of Akhaltsikhe with the programme of internship in the state institutions of Georgia

The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava introduced the students of Akhaltsikhe with the programme of internship in the state institutions for persons benefiting from "Georgian Language Educational Program" (1+4 program)
The meeting was held at the State University of Samtskhe-Javakheti, with the participation of the students from the “1 + 4 program” from Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki.
The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality provided them with information about the Internship pilot program. According to Kankava, such internship program will create an opportunity for employment in the state institutions.
He also noted that the registration deadline for participation in the program was extended until April 18, and that applicants in the application form should indicate the contact information of the adviser instead of a written recommendation (registration is possible at the following address: http://smr.gov.ge/Notifications/Program.aspx).
During the meeting the First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality underlined the importance of access to the quality higher education and the knowledge of state language. Petre Kankava also acquainted students with the steps taken by the Government towards the civil integration.
The rector of the Samtskhe-Javakheti State University Merab Beridze and representatives of local self-government institutions also took part in the meeting.
