The meeting was held in the frames of the project Youth Development Academy which is implemented by a local youth centre in Marneuli.

Paata Zakareishvili shared with the students information on both directions of the work of Minister’s Office - resolution of conflicts and integration of ethnic and religious minorities.

State Minister noted that multi-ethnicity is Georgia’s wealth. According to him, the role that youth play in promoting ethnic and religious integration is very important. State Minister also said that young people should be able to receive high-quality education.

"Young people should use their education and capabilities for the benefit to their country. You are highly dignified citizens of our nation,"- Minister addressed the students.

Paata Zakareishvili also talked about the situation with regard to resolution of conflicts. The students expressed interest about this matter and received answers on their specific questions from State Minister. Paata Zakareishvili called on young people to be involved and be active in civic activities.
