The issues regarding settlement of the conflicts were discussed at the meeting.

Specifically, the conversation touched upon the issues of missing persons and prisoners.

"The report prepared by you includes recommendations to investigate cases of the four Ossetian citizens who went missing in October 2008. I consider that investigation of this case will be helpful for the peace process and restoration of confidence", - stated Paata Zakareishvili to Thomas Hammarberg.

The discussion was also about the Incident Prevention and Reaction Mechanism (IPRM) and Geneva International Discussions.
