The meeting discussed issues related to criminal situation and violation of human rights in the occupied region.

The participants received feed-back on issues brought up during the last meeting by the Georgian side, namely issues related to the condition of those persons detained on the occupied region before and after the previous meeting.

During the meeting, several specific issues were raised, but their discussion was postponed for the next meeting. Participants agreed that the next meeting would be held in Gali on January 31, 2012.

The Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) working group is represented from the Georgian side by the Office of the State Minister for Reintegration, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the legitimate authorities of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia.
