State Minister attended the official meeting between Georgian and US presidents, as well as the Georgian delegation’s meeting with US Secretary of State Mrs. Hillary Clinton.

"Georgia-US relations will get stronger in terms of support for NATO integration and increasing interoperability of Georgian Armed Forces with NATO" - said State Minister after the meeting between presidents Mikheil Saakashvili and Barack Obama.

During the visit, Ms. Tkeshelashvili also met with Vice President of the United States, members of the Congress from Democratic and Republican parties, US-NATO PA delegation members, World Bank leadership and US Secretary of the Navy.

All members of the Georgian delegation, including State Minister for Reintegration, visited United States Institute of Peace and Georgetown University, where public speeches about Georgian reforms were delivered. Ms. Tkeshelashvili also participated in meetings with CNN, Washington Post and other media representatives.
