Deputy State Minister discussed with the members of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee of the Kingdom of Sweden the policy of the Russian Federation towards Georgia and the region in general. Mr. Porchkhidze also reviewed the military, political, financial and social aspects of the Russian occupation of the Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions. The Swedish guests expressed their interest regarding the ongoing activities of the Government of Georgia under the engagement policy. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Konstantine Kavtaradze, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Kingdom of Sweden and Mrs. Diana Janse, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Sweden to Georgia.
