The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Mr. Petre Kankava attended the sitting of the Committee on Sport and Youth Affairs in Gori.

The participants visited the villages of Bershueti, Adzvi, Mereti, Ergneti, Skra. They met with locals, got acquainted with their problems and discussed the possibilities of their settlement. They also visited sports infrastructure of these villages which is often outdated and unbalanced.

Subsequently, an extended meeting of the Committee was held in Gori Municipality. At the meeting the situation in the field of sports and youth in Gori region and the future projects were discussed.
