Young people can play an important role in the peace process with their sincerity and interesting initiatives. This statement the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili made during the meeting with students.
Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the students of different universities and introduced them priorities of the Georgian government's peace policy. The State Minister also listened the ideas of young people in relation on the restoration of improvement of relations between the conflict affected communities.
"Youth involvement in the confidence building and peacekeeping process is very important. I introduced them the vision and approaches of the Georgian government, priorities of reconciliation and engagement policy. Also, their ideas and opinions are always important for us. Young people can play a very important role in the peace process through their sincerity and interesting initiatives"- said Tsikhelashvili.
