Ambassador of Turkey to Georgia Zeki Levent Gumrukcu at the end of the four-year diplomatic service in our country met with the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

During the meeting participants discussed the situation along the dividing line and on the occupied territories of Georgia.

Discussion was focused on Georgia's peacekeeping and engagement policy. It was noted that peacekeeping policy should continue and it has not got any alternative.

The Ambassador once again reiterated the support of Turkey for Georgia's territorial integrity and peace policy. He also expressed readiness to assist in the implementation of the engagement policy.

The State Minister thanked the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Georgia for his contribution to the development of cooperation between the two countries.
