The discussions under the 85th Incident Prevention and Response Mechanism (IPRM) meeting took place in Ergneti on 1 March 2018.
The main topic of discussion was the death of Mr. Archil Tutunashvili and the case of two Georgian citizens - Levan Kutashvili and Ioseb Pavliashvili who were detained on February 22 together with Archil Tatunashvili and later released, but the documents were seized and they are unable to move to Georgian controlled territory.
The Georgian side did not receive answers to these questions. The Ossetian side can not specify when it will be possible to deliver Tutunashvili’s body. They said that family will receive his body together with the expertise conclusion.
Since the Georgian side did not receive answers on these two main issues, it was impossible to discuss other topics of the agenda and the representatives of Georgian side left the meeting. It will be resumed when Georgian side receives the answers on these issues.
