The First Deputy State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Lasha Darsalia met with Georgian and Chechen language teachers from Pankisi Gorge in the village of Duisi and congratulated them on March 8.
According to Lasha Darsalia, together with access to quality education, raising the level of knowledge of the state language and at the same time preserving the teaching of native language is a priority of state policy. He thanked the teachers for their hard work in this direction.
"It is a great honor for me to meet today people who have the knowledge of the state as well as the native language, which is really very important. Kists of our country acquired many elements of Georgian culture and retained their own culture.
" We will do our best in order to support the process of civil integration. That each citizen, regardless of ethnicity, should be equal and have equal opportunities and be involved in our social life", - said the First Deputy State Minister.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Akhmeta Ioseb Karumashvili and the Pankisi elders.
