The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili attended the exhibition of contemporary popular Azerbaijan artists living in Georgia.
The works of Azer Nosaoghlou, Ali Aliyev, Rasim Gasanov and Rizwan Ismailov were presented in the Giorgi Leonidze’s Georgian Literature State Museum. Young artists have been participating in numerous exhibitions.
"I want to confirm the readiness of the state and once again say that our task is to present and promote creativity, talent and works of every citizen, regardless their ethnic origin. The language of art does not have an ethnic sign. It is an international language. However, on the other hand, it is the possibility to express cultural identity.
"You know that the goal of state policy for civil integration and equality is to have a country, our common homeland, where each of us, irrespective of ethnic or religious origin, will be equal. The state is doing everything and will do in the future to provide to everyone the participation in all aspects of the country's life. Will it be political, economic, cultural, etc", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.
For the young artist Azer Nosaoghlou this is the third exhibition. His works were exhibited at the Rustavi Museum and Parliament National Library.
"My six works are presented at this exhibition. My works are mainly graphic and surreal. The topic is ecological problems. In my drawings, animals and people have masks and this is a kind of protest because of the environmental pollution", - he said.
The exhibition is organized by NGO "Development and Education Center", with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sport, Marneuli and Gardabani municipalities.
