Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulates the Yezidis living in Georgia on the holiday of Charsama Sarsale

The State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili congratulates the Yezidi people living in Georgia on Charsama Sarsale holiday. 

"I would like to congratulate you on this ancient holiday - Charsama Sarsale, which symbolize the New Year and New Life. Hope this holiday will bring to your families kindness, fun. We all want one thing - peace in our homeland Georgia. Let this day bring peace and prosperity for our country", - said Ketevan Tsikhelashvili.

Charshama Sarsale is the oldest and the most important holiday of the Yezidi community and it marks arrival of the New Year. The holiday originates from medieval cultures.
