The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili met with the UNDP Resident Representative and UNFPA Representative in Georgia Niels Scott and the UNHCR Regional Representative in the South Caucasus Johannes van der Klaauw.

The new peace initiative "A Step for a Better Future" was discussed at the meeting. The State Minister provided the guests with detailed information about each of the directions that the initiative implies.

Discussions also focused on the Georgian Government's peace policy and the ongoing and current events in reconciliation and engagement.

The importance of continuing and enhancing cooperation was emphasized. The sides have also talked about the further steps.
