The State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili within the "NATO Days 2018" visited her native, Kutaisi Public School #3.
The State Minister talked with school pupils and teachers about the importance of Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
"Today I'm in my hometown in Kutaisi, meeting my teachers and very talented pupils in this school. I am glad that I had the opportunity to return to my hometown, I am very proud of being a graduate of Kutaisi Third Secondary School.
We spoke with teachers and pupils about the importance of Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic course. We also discussed, how we deal with the main challenges that our country has in unresolved conflicts. Our Ministry is in charge of the issues concerning the peace policy and, of course, we also talked about this topic. Young people should know, what are we doing in order to provide them future life in the united and developed country", - said the State Minister.
Pupils introduced the State Minister schools creative life – showed their drawings and performed concert.
The educational project "Return to school" is organized by the Information Center on NATO and the European Union. For the fourth year, executive and legislative authorities hold meetings with pupils and teachers at their schools and provide them information on the importance of Georgia's integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.
